Christmas has come and gone. The anticipation of getting to Christmas day is wonderful and exciting. Then it is over what seems really quick. But the spirit of it lingers and how great would it be if that would last all year long.
This Christmas was different for me and about everybody. My family and me played it safe. So I didn't get to visit the kids and grandkids. We saw each other in other ways. Also this year was like I remember from my youth. It started snowing on Christmas Eve and continued through Christmas. I remember late at night as a kid on Christmas Eve looking out the window to see if I could spot Santa with the snow whipping around. And going to church on Christmas Eve to here the sermon about the meaning of Christmas.
So after many years this Christmas was a white Christmas after all something not seen for awhile. Here's a pic from early morning Christmas day the view of my neighborhood street from the taken from the sidewalk in the front of my house...
Hey, sorry I have not been on to read this. It's been a busy month or two. I have a new grandbaby for one thing and I have been helping my daughter and taking care of my granddaughter, getting her back and forth to school, plus I ended up having to do a lot of the "Santa" shopping because the baby came a bit early and my daughter had not done her shopping yet for the other child so it fell to me to play Santa. I MISS SNOW! You are so lucky to have gotten it for Christmas. I remember many Christmas mornings waking up to freshly fallen snow back when I was a child in Indiana. No chance that will happen here in Florida!! Hope your new year is starting out on a good note and hope you stay safe and well throughout. <3

DeleteI'm glad you remember those Christmases with snow when you were a kid. For me it made Christmas that more magical. It's had been a long time since snow came to make Christmas that much more beautiful No doubt you won't see one in Florida!
So far the new year is starting out just fine. Things are going well and hopefully 2021 will be an awesome year for all of us! (-:
