Yesterday another milestone. Time goes by quickly. Tick Tock. Except the few minutes you're waiting to leave work and that seems like an eternity. So I thought of an old song considered a classic now to celebrate the milestone. Back when I was just a kid and heard this song, I thought that age was a long long ways away. It seems from then till now life passed in a flash. Precious are our moments here on Earth.....

What milestone was it? Time does indeed go by quickly. I was thinking about a friend of mine that I haven't seen in years. We first met when we were in our early 50's and suddenly now we are both going to be 64 this year and how is that even possible??? Where did the time go??
ReplyDeleteThe milestone was I turned 64 yesterday. Kind of surreal. All week as my birthday got closer I thought of this Beatle song. So I played what would have been called side 2 of the Sgt. Pepper album where this song comes from. The song after it made me think of Rita since it is called Lovely Rita. I don't know where all the time went. It just slips away..
